BashaKill Wetlands
The Bashakill Wetlands is the largest freshwater wetland (more than 3000 acres) in southeastern NY, a designated Wildlife Management Area containing a diverse population of wildlife including over 220 species of birds, 30 species of fish, 200 species of wildflowers, and many amphibian and reptile species. Activities include bird watching, kayaking, fishing, and hiking along its 15 miles of trails.
